Allendorf (Eder), 18 June 2025 – The new Vitoair CT from Viessmann Climate Solutions features a space-saving design and exceptionally quiet operation. It convinces with adaptable installation options, user-friendly control and high efficiency. Thanks to its cubic, timeless design with the Vitopearl look, it fits visibly into living areas, offices and medical practices. With airflows of 300, 450 and 600 m³/h, rooms from 280 to 750 m² can be ventilated. Seamless integration with Viessmann One Base

Vitoair CT is equipped with the Viessmann One Base platform. This enables smooth integration into an energy system with a Vitocal heat pump, a Vitovolt photovoltaic (PV) system and a Vitocharge VX3 energy storage unit. In this combination, self-generated electricity is used to operate Vitoair and Vitocal.

Well-being thanks to heat and moisture recovery

Vitoair CT is available with a standard or an enthalpy heat exchanger. The latter not only recovers heat but also regulates indoor air and moisture exchange. This prevents rooms from drying out in winter and creates a healthier indoor climate.

In summer and during transition seasons, excess humidity is exhausted outdoors, reducing moisture damage and improving the indoor climate. With an enthalpy heat exchanger, a condensate drain is not required. In winter, the unit also supports the heat pump through efficient heat recovery.

Easy installation and commissioning

Supply and extract ducts of the Vitoair CT can be connected on the left or right side and selected individually during commissioning. The specialist uses the ViGuide mobile app for start-up. The Click-and-Go air distribution components are perfectly matched. Their flexibility and quick-connect technology significantly simplify installation.

New components with high-quality design

A consistent look makes the system distinctive. The new anthracite Vitoair exterior wall panel blends perfectly into any façade and outdoor area. It provides compact connections for outdoor and exhaust air and features a bird-guard grille and drip edge. The new Vitoair supply and extract valves with decorative HPL panels in oak and walnut finishes fit any interior thanks to their premium design.

Awarded the iF Design Award 2025

Vitoair CT received the iF Design Award 2025 in the categories Products and Building Services. Together with qualified installers, Viessmann has developed a ventilation unit that impresses with its simplicity and flexibility in installation, commissioning and maintenance, as well as with high efficiency and aesthetic design.

Flexible silencer limits noise emissions

To effectively limit noise even in tight installation situations — especially for very flat units mounted on walls or ceilings — a short, compressible, flexible silencer ideally complements existing longer, rigid silencers made of corrugated aluminium tubing. In addition to visible elements, new manifold components with a nominal diameter of DN 200 enable use in applications with higher airflow demands while maintaining the same air-velocity requirements – from outdoor and exhaust ducts to distribution boxes with Click-and-Go connection plates.

Vitoair Planner — design and order

Vitoair Planner enables fast design of residential ventilation. In just a few steps, the building and all rooms are created, along with a ventilation concept according to DIN 1946-6. Manual input of flow rates is also possible. The corresponding system can then be configured, including the unit and duct types. A clear airflow plan allows the specialist to adjust duct lengths and select accessories. Automatic pressure-loss calculation provides planning reliability. The detailed project report then includes the airflow plan, all information required for commissioning and recommended damper settings.

Vitopure air purifier for healthy indoor air

The new mobile Vitopure air purifiers meet the growing demand for healthy indoor air. With cleaning capacities of 250, 350 and 450 m³/h, they offer an effective solution for improving air quality in living spaces. The purifier plugs in easily via a wall adapter and is ready for immediate use. To blend into home interiors, Vitopure purifiers are available in elegant colours – linen white and lava black.

Vitopure purifiers are specially designed to combat pollen, dust, viruses and bacteria. The HEPA/activated carbon filters remove more than 99.95% of all particles from the air, effectively stopping their spread. This not only improves air quality but also supports users’ health.

Another benefit of clean air is its positive effect on sleep quality. The activated carbon filter absorbs volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and eliminates unpleasant odours. A coloured LED ring on the control panel indicates current air quality and when the filter needs to be replaced.

Vitopure purifiers can be conveniently controlled via the Viessmann One Base platform using only the ViCare app. Users can set fan speed manually or use the automatic mode, in which the device analyses room air quality and adjusts ventilation accordingly. Custom time profiles can also be created — for example, minimum speed at night or maximum speed for quick air cleaning before arriving home.
